Mount Kelly Choral Society is a mixed choir and we warmly welcome new members. 

​

We follow the school year and rehearse at Mount Kelly over three terms, performing two or three concerts a year in Tavistock.

​

We are a traditional SATB choir, that is Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass and are fortunate enough to have a good balance of male and female voices. 

​

We sing a variety of choral works and are always ready for a challenge!

Anyone who enjoys singing and wishes to develop their singing abilities is welcome. There is no audition to join but we ask that you are able to contribute vocally to the choir.

 

All our music is performed from the printed page so it's a big advantage if you know how to read from a score.

Next Step

Come along and join us at a rehearsal to experience the choir first hand. You don't have to sign up straight away - it's free for the first six rehearsals and then, if you decide that MKCS is for you, the annual membership fee is £75.00 which covers music hire.
